September 28th 2012

Not only is it Friday but it is pay day! Whoo hoo double whammy Friday. To celebrate this momentous day I have treated myself to an unhealthy burger king for lunch.

Today I have gone for the laid back student look. It is not a look I really go for on a day to day basis but what the hell it's Friday and I am super comfy :)

The t-shirt is from River Island, the leggings are from F&F and the hoodie is vintage from some random shop.

I picked up the hoodie a couple of years ago from a shop in Bangor. The main reason I bought it is because it had SW 86 on it. My initials were SW until I got married and I was born in 86, it was like the hoodie was made for me.

September 27th 2012

Can you believe it is nearly the weekend again already! I cannot wait for a long lie in :)

Today I am wearing an all Primark ensemble. Do you think it looks it? Honestly?

Now the temperature is really dropping the big woolly scarves have come out :)

September 26th 2012

Today I have decided to opt for a pop of colour with my Primark cardigan. It brightens up a dull day and at £2 in the sale it brightens up my bank balance : )

September 25th 2012

This evening I have been wined and dined by Pappy. OK, well no wine was consumed as it is a school night so it was diet cokes all round. We went to the Crown in Llay and I have to say it was fit. I had Lamb Henry for my main and I am now fit to burst!

Today I have worn my favourite tee from Topshop, River Island skirt and Primark flats.

Remember Pugs not Drugs kids!

Right time for a brew and some more paracetamol as my throat is killing me : (

September 24th 2012

Today I am feeling a little bit sorry for myself. Over the last few days I have been developing a cold and now it has taken its full impact on me : ( I think being super busy has not helped at all. So I am now on a diet of Paracetamol and Kleenex.

Today I am wearing Primark head to toe, it wasn't intentional I think it must be a sign that I spend too much time in there!

September 23rd 2012

I made it home alive from our tipi adventure, I smelled like a camp fire, I was tired and I was aching from head to toe but it was all worth it.

After a quick shower I chucked on some M&S jeggings, Topshop vest and a Primark kimono and flats. Once I felt a little bit more human I went to Nandos to fill my belly. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than chowing down on some spicy chicken and haloumi cheese (I can't get enough of the squeaky stuff!)

September 22nd 2012

On Saturday I went on my very first Tipi adventure. It's just the other side of Hereford and took about two hours to get there from Wrexham.

I have to say as someone who isn't an "outdoor kinda girl" I loved it! I cannot wait to go back again with a big group of friends. The weather was perfect for the occasion.

They tell you to pack light, but unfortunately that fell on deaf ears!

Once we had dumped everything in the tipi we set off in the canoes to go exploring. This was my first time in a canoe and it was quite scary, that was mainly due to my fear of falling in the river.

After our splish splashing we headed back for a BBQ and some much needed drinks round the camp fire.

For this special trip I decided I needed a special outfit, and what better outfit than a leopard print onesie. I was snug as a bug in a stylish rug.

When the temperature dropped a bit too much we headed into the warmth of the tipi and got the fire going in there, before we pulled out the futons and settled in for the night.

It was a great weekend, I would highly recommend it if anyone is looking for something a little bit different.

September 20th and 21st 2012

Yesterday was a very busy day for me as when I finished work I went straight to the gym and then after the gym I went out for thirsty Thursday!

When I was at the gym I was weighed and measured to see how my progress is going. After 4 weeks I have lost 3cm from my waist and 1% of my body fat. Not too bad considering I'm still eating the naughty stuff. I reckon if I cut out the crap then next month it would be a bigger loss.

Once I had pumped some iron I had a quick change and headed out to meet the girls for pound a pint. The mirrors weren’t very good in the gym so I haven’t got a full picture of what I wore.

I did have on a Primark top, M&S jeggings and heels with my Dorothy Perkins earrings.

Today I am a little bit ropey to say the least, I haven't been out on a school night in ages! I had a really good time, I think thirsty Thursdays are the way forward.

I have to say I did see some right states out last night, it shows how classy Wrexham can be. Pole dancing in the middle of a bar with your dress round your head and your knickers and your bits hanging out is never a good look even on the most model like girls. Put it away!

To try and look half alive this morning I am wearing a Primark cardigan, top and studded clutch with M&S jeggings and F&F flats.

September 19th 2012

Today I have gone for a bit of a lumberjack look with my check shirt, Barbour style jacket and timberland style wedges.

Most of the outfit comes from Primark, surprise surprise! The dress is from H&M, the boots are from F&F and the shirt, belt, bag and jacket are Primark.

September 18th 2012

Today I have been on week two of my insulin adjustment course. It is really interesting and I have learned so much already. If you are diabetic I would highly recommend trying to get on the course as you may find it very beneficial for the long term.

For my trip to the hospital I wore a Dorothy Perkins dress and knee high boots, F&F leggings, Topshop bangle and a vintage scarf.

September 17th 2012

Hello a brand new week!

Today I am wearing an Oasis dress with some Primark flats. I have to say this dress is super comfy for work and can be taken from day to night with a few nifty accessories. Plus I picked it up for £15 from Debenhams in the sale, bargain!

Whilst I was walking to the bus stop this morning I noticed for the first time in months I was cold. Eek I definitely think summer has left us. As I was shivering as I walked it got me thinking about my box of scarves and hats and getting my winter accessories out this evening.

Many people hate Autumn/Winter, but me I love it! I love Autumn/Winter fashions, it's always so decadent and sumptuous.

September 16th 2012

Can you believe it's Sunday afternoon already! I have to say considering I have had a very quiet weekend I am absolutely shattered.

Today I am wearing a F&F cardigan, H&M dress and Primark belt, flats and satchel.

If you are looking for the ultimate Autumn/Winter accessory then look no further than the satchel. Once a bag worn by public school boys it now graces the catwalks all over the world.

I picked mine up for £9 from Primark it comes in black or brown but there are hundreds of different ones out there on the market.

I would really like one from http://cambridgesatchel.co.uk/ they do tons of fabulous colours and they are handmade leather so they will last a lifetime.
